Looking after your car

At LMC, we know that a car is a huge investment. Whether you take it on with finance or pay for the car outright, it is a big purchase. Once you drive off the forecourt, you will want to keep it feeling fresh for as long as possible. Here are our tips for looking after your car…

Litter picking

Whether you are riding solo or you have a few passengers in the car, it is almost inevitable that the odd bottle of water or empty sandwich wrapper is going to take up residence in your car. If this is the case, make sure you are cleaning out your car regularly. Instead of letting it mount up, pop a carrier bag in the car to collect your rubbish and recycling and make sure you empty it every couple of days, or even every day.

A good wash

So, the inside is looking swish but what about the outside? You may be someone who takes pride in cleaning their car and if so, good on you. If you are someone who looks at the same drop of bird poo on the bonnet every day for a month, you may want to consider getting it cleaned professionally. It will feel like a whole new car, trust us.

Servicing and maintenance

Regular servicing and maintenance will keep your car looking and feeling as good as it can do. Keep on top of appointments and take care of any advisory actions before they grow into something bigger. This will also help retain the future value of the car.

Pump it up

Tyres. Keep them legal and keep them inflated. Not only will you be on the right side of the law, but your motor will drive so much better.

There are just a few of our tips but we have a whole load more where they came from. Get in touch with us to find your dream used car in Essex or have a gander at our latest arrivals online.
